Exterior Painting

1. We remove all screens, downspouts and shutters.
2. Pressure wash house completely to clean all mildew, dirt, ect… note: not only does this clean the house, but this also lets us know where any peeling paint is, and also rotten wood.
3. Replace any rotten wood, if needed. All new wood is completely primed, prior to installation.
4. Scrape all peeling paint, and then sand all paint edges. Spot prime raw wood with an exterior oil primer. This will help lock down original paint and seal bare wood.
5. This is probably the most important part of the job, the caulking stage. As a standard procedure, we caulk the entire house completely. This insures that no moisture will penatrate beyond the wood surface. We also fill any nail holes, especially on siding.
6. If you have the type of windows that have glazing, we check all glazing and repair accordingly.
7. Once we have thoroughly prepared the house we apply the paint. There are different ways to apply paint depending on the type of surface that the paint is being applied to. We generally apply paint with a brush, about 90% of the time. The reason why brushing is generally better is because the paint is actually pushed into the surface, making sure that all surfaces are sealed completely.  However, if requested we can also apply paint with a sprayer.
8. During the painting procedure we use drop cloths where needed to maintain a clean job. Upon completion, the jobsite is cleaned thoroughly. Remaining paint is left with homeowner.

Interior Painting

1. When painting interiors, neatness is a major priority. The first thing we do is secure the working area with plastic and drop clothes.
2. We then prepare the surfaces that are to be painted. We will spackle any imperfections in ceilings and walls. We will caulk any cracks in the wood work. Doors, windows, baseboards, crownmoulding, ect…
3. We lightly sand all painted surfaces to insure good adhesion and a smooth surface.
4. Once the surfaces are prepared we apply the selected type of paint to the different surfaces.
5. When the job is completed, we do a thorough clean up by vacuuming floors prior to replacing furniture.

Pressure Washing

1. We pressure wash buildings, houses, wood or asphalt shingles, decks, fences, walks and driveways ect…
2. We use top quality cleaning agents on all the different types of surfaces.

Decks and Fences

1. Decks and fences can sometime be a relatively high maintenance item. The u.v. rays from the sun are its worst enemy. Pressure washing, for the most part, will get rid of the u.v. damage (that’s the grey color that is on the wood). Unfortunately it does not keep it from coming back. 
2. Waterproofing, semi-transparent and solid stains are the best ways to preserve the wood. Two coats is always needed.

Carpentry

1. We replace any rotten wood, windows, window sills, doors, trim, siding ect…
